In this workshop, we'll share why your child is experiencing these challenges and what you can do about it:

What an autistic child experiences and the underlying causes of challenging behaviors related to autism.
Based on Dr Steve Gutstein's research on the brain wiring of an autistic individual and how best to support your child's learning and development.
We'll share fmri scans to explain what Dr Gutstein learned about an autistic individual's brain.
What are the right next steps to address the 'behavior challenges' to set the foundation for learning and independent thinking.

About Kamini Lakhani

Kamini is a Behavior Specialist & RDI Consultant (Relationship Development Intervention, trained in the U.S.) and has been providing services in the field of autism, including Asperger’s Syndrome and Pervasive Developmental Disorder (PDD) for 3 decades. She is the authorized Director of Professional Training, Relationship Development Intervention (RDI) in India and the Middle East.

Being the mother of a child (now young adult) on the spectrum, she understands the challenges encountered by parents of similarly abled children. Her aim is to empower families and create meaningful changes for those affected by ASD and other neuro developmental difficulties.

Kamini has been providing expert services in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) for 3 decades and has a passion for the cause of Autism and respect & dignity for the people on the spectrum are the cornerstones of her practice.

Kamini is also a member of the Resource Committee for the Forum for Autism (FFA) and has written more than 200 blog posts and has authored 4 ebooks in the past few years.

This session is a learning session and we aren't doing in-person assessments. We have limited seats and we are restricting this session to parents and caretakers only.

This session is for parents only. If you are a professional and a parent, you're welcome to attend as a parent
